My point of writing all this is my concern with investing time into games that forces PvP onto people and how they tend to die out or they make changes that put restrictions on peoples pvp game play and it changes the feel of the open sandbox world. I went on to shadowbane and that was the same story as were all the open world pvp style game I played after that.
I never left Fellucca and found myself alone most of the time in the end days. I was never a ganker, I loved PvP and liked the freedom to kill or be killed. Trammel was the PVE lands and Fellucca was the original PvP lands. I remember starting in a dangerous world as a lumberjack sneaking out of town to cut wood and avoiding murders, being a miner, fighting against dread lords and murders, being a murder myself after you figure out who your enemies alts are, acquiring a tower and some other great location houses, and then one day finding myself in am empty dead world with the introduction of Trammel. The little bit I have looked into it reminds me of Ultima Online and the changes that Ultima Online went through from the beginning to the time I left at the start of age of shadows.
